My name is Caroline Abedrabboh.
Have you heard the saying “If you don’t make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make
time for your illness”? This one hit me hard a few years ago.
It was winter 2020/2021, deep into the third wave of the pandemic. I was working long hours in
the emergency department at my local hospital where I practiced as a registered nurse. I
worked days, nights, and evenings, with minimal days off in between. I was not seeing family or
friends due to the public health restrictions; I wasn’t participating in any of my regular hobbies
that kept me active physically and socially. I had recently suffered some losses and needed to
grieve, but I didn’t want to. I was in a state of deep avoidance, looking for any way to drown out
my thoughts and my feelings. Working this much, my routine became eat, sleep, work, repeat,
for many months until February 21 st 2021. That’s the day I broke my foot and my life flipped
upside down. I remember one day, sitting on my bedroom floor in front of the window, looking up
at the sky and saying “okay God, I hear you now. I get it. You’re needing my attention and I’m
doing everything to avoid it. I’m here now, I’m open and I’m paying attention. Show me, I’m
ready”. I closed my eyes, and I waited there in silence.
Welcome to my journey to holistic health. I feel blessed because I am both a medical nurse trained in acute emergency medicine as well as a holistic healer trained and experienced in various modalities and belief systems.
My mission is to find a balance where Eastern and Western medicine can join forces for our
highest good. Using primarily my intuition to guide me, I aim to merge the two worlds by integrating all that my fifteen years of nursing have taught me, with the ancient medicine of our ancestors. As with the Yin and the Yang, opposing forces that are deeply interconnected and interdependent, supporting and giving rise to each other; so are Eastern and Western Medicine.
It is my belief that both are meant to co-exist and complement one another in healing
journeys.
This definition of holistic health is an all-encompassing healing model, uniquely designed to meet individual needs. It is a dynamic process that needs ongoing evaluation and attunement. t’s taken many decades, many lessons, transitions, and transformations to be here today. I am proud to share my treatment approach with you as I continue to cultivate my gift.
I am a firm believer that we are all healers and have the capacity to heal ourselves; we just need to remember. I am here to support and guide you to living your best, most fulfilled life.
Everything starts with intention. Setting an intention is like saying a prayer.
