Acupuncture & SuJok Therapy

At Lumera, we offer two powerful styles of acupuncture: Traditional Acupuncture and SuJok Therapy. SuJok is a specialized system of acupuncture that combines TCM meridian-theory with a deeply intuitive, emotion-centered framework. SuJok is known for its ability to access and shift emotional patterns, support nervous system regulation, and promote psycho-emotional healing.

Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine

At Lumera, we offer two powerful styles of acupuncture: Traditional Acupuncture and SuJok Therapy. Rooted in ancient Chinese medicine, Traditional Acupuncture works by inserting fine needles along specific meridians to promote the smooth flow of Qi (energy) throughout the body.

Cupping Therapy at Lumera is offered by both our Registered Acupuncturists as well as our Kinesiologist. Cupping therapy is a technique used in Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. It increases blood flow and promotes muscle recovery by reducing inflammation, improving range of motion, breaking down fascial adhesions and releasing tension in the muscles. The cups can be left in place or moved around the skin, and may leave circular marks that typically fade within a few days.

Facial Acupuncture & Rejuvenation

Our facial acupuncture sessions are all led by Registered Acupuncturists. These treatments blend cosmetic care with internal wellness support—and may be partially covered under your extended health benefits. Alongside facial techniques, we often use acupuncture points on the body to regulate systems like digestion and hormones, helping to support both outer glow and inner balance.

Microneedling

This treatment is covered under most extended medical plans.
